Had a meal a lovely meal here. We had the steak and it was cooked perfectly and great quality. One of the best steaks I’ve had on Koh tao. We also tried the sausages which were great. Mash potatoes also a big highlight!

Don't let the name fool you! This is a delicious experience. Laid back but high quality.
You order what you want (striploin for me) and they let you pick your cut of wagyu before cooking.
Then you pick your sides (mushrooms and corn puré for me) and optional sauces.
YOU MUST TRY THE CARAMELIZED ONION SAUCE. Its basically crack.
I don't usually dip wagyu into anything but the sauce was so good that I finished it before my steak.
I walked in expecting bar food because of the name but they have awesome food at awesome prices and I''ll definitely be back again.
If you’re looking at this review to see what people think of Buds Bar N Grill, I can tell you now, don’t go anywhere else. Wow 🤩 our party of four had steaks and a Tomahawk pork chop with mushroom mash and fries and some kind of delicious sauces alongside. I’ve had steaks in Texas that are easily as good. Anyway, please take my word for it. Pay a wee bit more for the best food you can get. Also the orange posset and key lime pie 😋 more wow🤩

Amazing chilled atmosphere, friendly staff, fantastic food. The steak is the best we've had anywhere in Thailand. The triple cooked fries are also unbelievable 🤤

Wir haben nach gutem Steak gesucht und Bekannte haben uns dann von diesem Lokal erzählt. 10/10 für beide Gerichte ❤️ das Wagyu Steak mit knusprigen Zwiebelringen war on Point gebraten und Fish&chips war mit frischem Fisch 😍 unserer Tochter hat das sehr gut geschmeckt weil es auch super knusprig war !
Ich habe mir dann auch noch einen Cocktail of the day machen lassen der dann zum Abschluss sehr erfrischend war ! Super liebe Bedienung und auch kinderfreundlich !

First time here..i was greeted by Matt the owner who is very friendly and welcoming. I had Austrian cheese sausages with hand cut french fries .. very tasty and hit the spot. I will be back.
Only just opened on the island! Great atmosphere and fantastic food! I mean just look at the Triple Cooked Chips - decent cocktail menu too!
So happy to discover this gem whilst we were on the island… The smoked sausage and skin on fries were to die for 🤤!
Staff were super friendly too and the place always had a great atmosphere, highly recommended if you’re travelling through Koh Tao 👍🏼
Great Little spot with amazing food, walked in for a cheeky Sunday night hotdog on cheat day and met Matt and Bank, testing their new sausages and welcomed me in straight away!

Great spot. Food, Drinks and Weed they have it all plus the added comfort of enjoying it with Aircon which is not really a thing anywhere else on the island... Staff are super accommodating. 10/10 must do.
