Helaas viel het eten behoorlijk tegen. De onion rings dropen van het vet en de friet was slap, vettig en bovendien lauw.
De steak viel tegen gezien de prijs.
Daarnaast was hij aan de taaie kant, wat je bij dit type vlees eigenlijk niet verwacht. Door het erg vette eten voelde ik me erna ook misselijk.
Ook de keuze aan sauzen was erg beperkt. Bij de steak krijg je gratis ketchup en mayonaise, wat ik persoonlijk niet echt vind passen bij een (wagyu) steak. Naast deze sauzen was er een kaassaus en รฉรฉn andere optie beschikbaar, dus echt veel keuze was er niet.
De sfeer in het restaurant vond ik ook tegenvallen. Het interieur voelde sfeerloos aan, met fel en koud licht. Daarnaast galmde elk geluid door de ruimte, waardoor je elkaar moeilijk kon verstaan zodra andere tafels aan het praten waren. Voor de relatief hoge prijzen van het eten had ik eerlijk gezegd meer sfeer en beleving verwacht.
De service was overigens wel goed, het personeel was vriendelijk. Jammer genoeg kon dat voor mij niet compenseren dat het eten uiteindelijk gewoon niet aan de verwachtingen voldeed.

Honestly one of the best steaks I've ever had. And the mash potato was literally to die for. The hotdog was amazing aswell, literally everything was amazing i highly recommend.
Wow...super gute Steaks (ich empfehle das Japanische Wagyu-Steak) preislich zwar etwas teurer aber das ist es auf jeden Fall wert fรผr die Qualitรคt an Fleisch die man hier bekommt! Selten so gut Steak gegessen wie hier. Der Service ist top: schnell und super freundlich.
Man kann sein Fleisch hier selber im Kรผhlschrank aussuchen und es wird dann frisch zubereitet. Fรผr alle Steak-Liebhaber ein absolutes Muss!
Das Dessert war auch der wahnsinn und vermutlich selbstgemacht.

A rare Gem!!! Do yourself a favor and donโt miss this place. If u r looking for an amazing wagyu steak (or regular steak) at a reasonable price, this is the place!!!! We had the Australian Wagyu ribeye steak and it literally melts in your mouth! It comes with two sides of your choice and we had the sautรฉed enoki mixed mushrooms that were absolutely delicious, and the creamy mashed potatoes piped in a swirl on our plate. Every bite was just perfection on a plate! We also had the โgarlic breadโ but it was not just your ordinary butter/garlic on bread. I honestly canโt explain it, except to say, try it!!! This restaurant is a little place off the main beach road, up on the highway road but it is just a short walk. It is owned and run by a friendly gentleman from the UK (Matt) and his Thai partner. They seem to be 2 hardworking, customer focused guys who r striving to create a premium food experience for a reasonable price and I have to say, THEY ARE KILLING IT!!! It may not exactly have the ambience of a high end fancy steak house but the service, presentation and quality is bar non, top notch!!! We will be back!!!!

Nice steak. BUT BEWARE - VERY EXPENSIVE. Two people, two courses, 11,000 Bath !?! We could not believe when the bill came. Our drinks were not even 1000 bath.
Buds Bar n Grill is such a gem. You can really feel how passionate the owners are about making great food โ everything tastes fresh, thoughtful, and made with care. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, and the whole experience just feels genuine.

We were searching for a bit more special location for a change and just walked in this place at an early evening. The very friendly staff immediately got us a table and explained the steak cuts for the day. Service was excellent as was the steak and the sides. Highly recommend this place. Maybe think about making a reservation before if you wanna come at a busier time.

Ich hatte einen sehr schรถnen Abend mit wirklich qualitativ hohen Fleisch das ich absolut genossen habe alle Beilagen war tip top vor allem die selbst gemachten Soรen sind sehr zu empfehlen. Auch der Wein ist dort wirklich sehr gut ausgewรคhlt. Ich bedanke mich nochmals for Diese schรถne Fleischreuse ๐๐ผ
The best dinner i ever had in Koh tao. We had the Japanese Wagyu A5 and it was 5โญ๏ธ. They have variety of sauce which also well made and so delicious.
Premium quality of steak and 5โญ๏ธ service at a good price. If you want to eat steak, this is the best place to go โค๏ธ
