I have to say, this is the best steak I've ever had on Koh Tao. The taste was amazing, the atmosphere was great, and the service was excellent. I was impressed with everything. I love this place.
Erstklassige Qualität! Unser Essen war extrem lecker – die Café-de-Paris-Soße ein absoluter Traum. Wir hatten Wagyu auf Fries sowie das Schweinekotelett, und beides ist uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Großartiger Geschmack und tolle Zubereitung. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Wow! Super leckeres hochwertiges Fleisch aus Japan! Wir haben uns für die beiden besten Sorten entschieden. Die Mitarbeiter sind nett und aufmerksam. Das Fleisch ist auf den Punkt gebraten wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Unfortunately, this restaurant did not live up to the expectations created by its reviews. We waited a long time before anyone even took our drink order, and then around 50 minutes for our steaks. There were four of us, and only two other tables in the restaurant, yet everyone had very long waiting times.
One important detail that makes the reviews questionable is that the restaurant offers a 5% discount if you leave a 5-star review — this is clearly stated in the menu. This feels misleading and likely explains the high ratings.
The staff was friendly, but very slow and seemingly overwhelmed despite there being only a few tables. Overall, not worth the money. I would recommend going somewhere else.

Had an excellent meal in Buds the other day. He gave us some free food on the house as he was trialing some new menu items and it was absolutely delicious!! We’re going back tonight and hopefully squeeze it in again before we go
Today I had the steak delivered ! Aus hanger with fries and onion rings and it was perfect the steak cooked beautiful still juicy and full of flavor fries amazing ! Best steak I’ve had in a very long time

Everything everyone at my table had was so good and he gave us some stuff that wasn’t on the menu yet and it was so good. I recommend the key lime pie!!
Had diner tonight at Buds and it was amazing. To start off, the owner, Bank, is such a gentleman and very service oriented. He explained the cuts of meat they offered that night and i choose the Hanger steak. I could not have made a better choice! The steak was perfectly cooked and came with the most crispy onion rings and delicious mash potatoes. And to finish it off they offered me a Key lime pie and boy did that hit, the perfect combination of sweet, sour and freshness.
The staff is extremely friendly and i enjoyed the interactions.
Only positive vibes! Highly recommend visiting Buds when you are at Koh Tao.
Is perfectly for dinner and staff she very good recommended cause I don’t eat beef and also can’t eat shrimp. And she recommended for German sausage that’s is so yummy.
Ice cream is so nice and I recommend for dessert after main course 😊😊

Best restaurant on the island! Great ambience too at night and evening
Max is one of the nicest people, it shows that he cares very much for each costumer and each dish is getting out of the kitchen, the beef steaks were cooked to perfection , and the 3 times cooked fries, oh the fries, it was a pleasure and a great pleasant time to spend, on top of all of that, when we were done ( not a crumb left on the plat) we were thinking about desert, Max noticed us and offer a homed key-lime-pie who was amazing!!! Thank you Max and everyone!! Well recommended🤘🏽😎
I had a very pleasent time here, very chill and cool owner the staff was very nice as well. The Food was great the Steak was cooked perfect and the triple cooked chips are great as well totally recommand.
