Friendly service easy to understand

High Times near Asok has one of the most convenient locations in Bangkok, and the ground-floor shop itself is genuinely great. The main reason is Pet, the guy behind the counter. Pet is honestly one of the most knowledgeable and warmest people you’ll ever meet in this industry. He knows every detail about the products, always gives good recommendations, and has the kind of personality that makes you instantly feel welcome. Just meeting him is a reason to visit the shop. The quality of the weed is also very high, and the pricing is fair for what you get. Unfortunately, the experience changes completely when you go upstairs to the rooftop lounge area. The atmosphere there is the opposite of the shop downstairs. Several of the employees on the rooftop are extremely rude and dismissive, with negative body language, strange looks, and an overall unwelcoming attitude, even when you’re being friendly and just want to sit, relax, and smoke. It feels like they decide who they want to treat well and who they don’t, and if they don’t like you for whatever reason, the behavior becomes disrespectful and uncomfortable. Because of this, I stopped going altogether, even though I easily used to spend €30–50 per day there and wanted to make it my regular spot. It’s disappointing, because the shop downstairs (and especially Pet) is genuinely amazing, but the rooftop staff makes the whole place feel hostile instead of relaxing. Until that changes, I’d rather stay away and give my money to other shops.
