Delicious food at a budget friendly price.
We ate at this family restaurant several times during our stay and every time it was very good. The food was fresh, well prepared, and the prices were very good. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly. We definitely recommend this place.

Delicious and good price!! I’m Thai and can confirm the taste is really what locals eat. If you are looking to try something. Try “Pad krapao Moosub + Kai dao(fried egg)” and have Roti Banana for a dessert!! THB60 only. So yum!!!
DON'T get stuck just eating in main streets.
We heard about this place so popped in AND we're happy we did.
Thai for breakfast (chicken pad se ew and Mango soothie) stunning food and great prices.
Staff may seem as if they are just rolling with it, but thats them.
Well worth a visit or 3 to support local families with AWESOMENESS food at stellar prices.

Best food on the island. The owner who was also cooking all the food was incredible. Everything we ate was very clean and delicious in generous portions. We came here twice during our stay and we had papaya salad, glass noodle seafood salad, pad kra pao and omlette. Also it was very budget friendly. Really recommend this place.

Ein kleines einheimisches Familienrestaurant mit ganz viel Herz! Wir waren im Om Restaurant auf Koh Mak essen und ich hatte Pad Thai und Som Tam– ehrlich gesagt das beste, das ich je gegessen habe. Alles war frisch zubereitet, unglaublich lecker und sehr authentisch. Die Familie war super freundlich und herzlich, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Dazu sind die Preise mehr als fair. Absolut empfehlenswert für alle, die echtes thailändisches Essen genießen möchten!

Nice rustic restaurant, we ate here everyday and had breakfast and lunch. Good value, strong coffee and tasty thai dishes. The banana roti is a must try!
I was looking for a local taste. So, after reading positive reviews I went to Om Restaurant.
The welcome was cold, no smile, I felt like disturbing someone tired (but ok, it happens here in Koh Mak). Unfortunately, the food taste was very flat, no rich Thai spices - far away from local taste.
Well, maybe it wasn’t a good day, maybe they were sad or tired….
But for me it was not a good experience. Once again : if you see the spaghetti, cordon blue etc in the menu = they are focused on tourists = you will not have a real local taste. Nothing wrong (for many tourists 🇹🇭 food is too hot). But if you want to eat “local” it’s not here.
(Food to avoid was the fried flat noodles “Pad Se eew” and “Pad Kee Mao).
