Bamboo Beach Bar

Had a great time with the Burmese brothers running the Bamboo Beach Bar. Thye sell weed, delicious fruit shakes, beers, coffee, and whatever else you need to enjoy Sairee Beach vibes. I recommend visiting during Golden Hour, so that you can catch a marvelous sunset! Kind attendants, and not too pushy with ordering. Enjoyed my time here!

Very chilled bar with quality music and draft beer!! Definitely recommend this one! If you want chill out with nice reggae/dub vibes or dj/concert sessions, go grab a drink there ;)

La musique est beaucoup trop forte. Nous voulions nous y installer mais ça nous a fait vite partir.

The layout of this bar is fantastic; the decor truly makes you feel like you are at sea. It’s a small, cozy space with a great atmosphere. While the staff is generally welcoming, the service can be inconsistent. At a certain point, they seemed "lazy" to attend to the table, even when I tried to establish clear eye contact. The menu is rich and offers a lot of variety, but unfortunately, the flavors didn't meet expectations. Some ingredients simply don't match well together. I ordered the Falafel and Chicken wraps, and both were quite tasteless. With just a small adjustment to the seasoning or prep, they could be perfect, but as they are, they lack flavor.

We visited Koh Tao between the 25-28th January and visited Bamboo Beach Bar 3 times every day. We absolutely loved it. The location is unbeatable, perfect spot for a cocktail and a dip in the sea and paddle board with the resident doggo’s, all while enjoying great music (with a brilliant DJ on Saturday nights)! The cocktails were fantastic, easily some of the best on the island! Margaritas were 👌 👌 👌 But what makes Bamboo Beach Bar stand out is the staff. Everyone was incredibly attentive, warm and genuinely friendly. Huge extra shout-out to Aung, the absolute superstar waiter. He took great care of us during our stay, remembered us and always went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. His service really made every stay unforgettable. If you’re in Koh Tao, Bamboo Beach Bar is a must-visit. You definitely won’t be disappointed.

Dominic an amazing person his taste in the aesthetics of the place is incredible. Highly recommend to grab a Passion Fruit Mango Smoothie by the beach of Bamboo Beach Bar.

Bamboo Beach Bar is a nice place to relax and have a drink by the beach. I wouldn’t say it’s the best bar around, but overall it’s a decent spot to sit, chill, and enjoy the atmosphere. Nothing exceptional, but a pleasant and simple place to spend some time. 🌴🍹
