What a great place to watch Thai boxing, you can even participate, and the entrance is very affordable, just an excellent experience!
Definitely of the most unique bars I’ve ever been to. You have to buy atleast one drink to enter, they are a bit overpriced however it’s nothing compared to the experience. There’s a muay thai ring inside where anybody can enter, fight and get a bucket full of alcohol. There were also professional fights which were interesting.
Must see when you're in Phi Phi!
The atmosphere here is always electric even in some of the tropical storms you get. The alcohol and the drinks are great and you can easily stay a whole night without realising.
The fights were fun to watch and when you want to fight they bring you into the ring and offer your hand to the crowd to fight. All amateurs are welcome and fighters get a free drink. Very unique place, will definitely come back!
Always a good time here! Naff music but who doesn't like watching drunk tourists punch each other up over a cocktail bucket. A must do!
Never gave us our change and refused to sort out the issue. All crowded our table shouting at us that they gave us our money however we had taken out a specific amount and knew we hadn’t received our change. Then just all left and ignored us the whole time when we asked what the update was! It’s a shame because the atmosphere and people fighting are great but service is just rude.
The Reggae Bar on Phi Phi Island is an unforgettable gem! With its chilled atmosphere and infectious reggae beats, it’s the ultimate spot to kick back and soak in the island vibes. The staff are incredibly welcoming, and the drinks, while a bit pricey, set the tone for a great time. What truly sets this place apart are the thrilling live Muay Thai boxing matches, adding an electrifying twist to the evening. Whether you're looking to relax with good tunes or meet some fellow travelers, the Reggae Bar is a must-visit.
They force you to pay 80B for a drink as an entrance fee. Why don't they just charge for tickets for the show??? Then I would have bought much more drinks and snacks...
Good place to go for the distraction : reasonable prices for beers. Seeing tourists doing muay thai is fun. I couldn’t find many activities at night at Koh PhiPhi after soending first night at Fireshow. This one is OK.
A place where tourists can fight each other and in between them a couple of actual moi Thai fights between locals/professionals.
Note that there aren’t any entry tickets, you have to buy a drink to enter.
It gets very crowded and the some of the seating is very uncomfortable.
The fights are quite frequent however and it’s very fun to watch!
Absolutely wild place. The fights are fun to watch and leave for an entertaining evening after 9pm
Fun atmosphere and volunteer amateur fighters
You buy a drink to enter and is a really social atmosphere. If you like watching a fight this is a place for you. A real experience. Cocktails are good.
Really different than any other places
Brilliant, unique experience! 😁
The Reggae Bar on Phi Phi Island is a fantastic spot! The laid-back atmosphere and lively reggae music create a fun and relaxing vibe. The staff is friendly and the drinks are great. One of the highlights is the live Muay Thai boxing matches, which add an exciting touch to the night. It's a perfect place to unwind, enjoy good music, and meet new people. If you're on Phi Phi Island, make sure to check out the Reggae Bar for a memorable night out!
Cons: Cocktail -bit expensive.Feel like water.
This place was absolutely perfect, our favourite place on Koh Phi Phi, the drinks were on the more expensive side, 100 baht for a small Heineken however it was worth it because it allowed entry into the muay thai arena, it was not elite athletes fighting but it was worth going to watch a very cultural sport not at a ridiculous price like anywhere else, the music was good between rounds and when they started getting the customers to fight it made for a very fun evening.
The experience was amazing.
Even the people in there can also opt in to fight and have a experience
Lovely to immerse in the local culture and the concept of having volunteers to fight in a safe controlled environment with local music. Would 100% recommend spending time here to watch a few fights with a drink (alcoholic and non alcoholic)
That was funny/crazy/unique and the drink was strong. I got a Long Island which didn’t taste like tea but alcohol so not the best I had but worth the price. Fun night
Very funny place, with Muay Thai fighting. The most funny is the customers that challenge between them and fight to get a free drink. So funny and nice
Have you ever went traveling with someone and they annoyed you? Well, put on your boxing gloves and fight it out in the ring! Great pictures and a great story to tell. Best run bar on phi phi, fights start at 9pm and can get very crowded!
If you are planning to fight, you have to right your name down early as they only schedule 20 games per night
Great atmosphere. The fighters were all very entertaining
This place was an interesting fun night out.
There are local Muay Thai (Thai boxing) fights happening every night.
The interesting thing is that all tourists can go and have a go. It can get really entertaining, some people just have caracter and anyone with or without previous experience can try it.
Drinks and food are okay but don’t expect delicious food and many options.
Service is as good as it gets when the place is fully packed
Note: There are no entry tickets required 🎟️ but you need to get one drink to get in.
Tip: Be there early to get seated (around 9PM)
