Its really fun and a good vibe
Excellent! Besides the professionals. They offer tourist to fight against eachother, which is awesome!
Drinks prepared by bartenders don't have anything in common with real drinks. Some of them have a lot of alcohol, some doesn't have it at all. Don't recommend to buy any drinks there.
We ordered 4 different drinks (200B each) to enter the bar and all of them were disgusting!!!
It wasn’t a drink at all.. some syrup with juice, no alcohol.
AWFUL
The drinks aren’t bad but they aren’t made in front of you (worrying for a female traveller in Ko Phi Phi particularly) and service is good given how busy they are at peak. The referee for the fight system seems irresponsible however. There is always a level of risk since the bar involves drunk guys getting riled up by the fighting, but none of the tourist fighters we saw had any martial art experience and so they did not know how to protect their heads or when to stop when they were concussed. There were points that the ref should have stopped the fight, such as when one guy took 10+ heavy hits to the head without defending. Higher ounce gloves, alcohol limits to fights, avoiding weight mismatches, and more careful reffing would make it safer, but obviously would be less entertaining for the audience.
Great place, really fun atmosphere, people are respectful and friendly inside and outside the ring. You can volunteer to challenge other people in the audience to a boxing match in between Muay Thai fights. Amazingly, this place is free (you have to buy a drink)!
Get there around 8:30 or sooner to ensure you get a seat!
It’s a nice place, but be aware of your change. We gave the younger one 1000 baht for a beer and they gave the change like we gave them 500. We tried to argue but they said it didn’t happen, even though my husband doesn’t drink. I would advise to buy only one drink (mandatory), make it last a few fights, and leave for another place
Fun but they scam you at the bar. Just gave them 1000 baht for one beer that costed 100 and they gave me 400 back. I complained and they just said “sorry you gave me 500”.
Great entertainment! You can get in the ring a fight another tourist! Get a free bucket when you're done ✅
Definitely different bar than anyone would expect. Entry to the bar is free, however only allowed when you purchase the drink, so not typical “table for two, please”. We entered in the busiest time of evening so limited seating space with big crowd of people, however the atmosphere was insane! At first we watched Thai Kickboxing by semi-professionals, then the real fun started when audience (male and female) was joining the queue to fight with each other, everyone’s welcome to fight! At the end you receive medal for attending and getting high fived by all the audience! Something you must see when in Phi Phi Islands!
Massive tourist trap (obvs)! You need to buy a drink to get in, we bought waters and beers and they told us it was over as soon as we paid. Plus the people at the bar were suuuuper rude!! Do not go here!
Drinks as entry fee, great idea, also had a good little smoke in there too. Fights were awesome, and everyone is badass!
Great vibes just pay for drinks no tickets!
Great place to watch some safe drunk fights and some fights with trained fighters. Friendly service from the staff and great atmosphere throughout the night.
Thai boxing venue, drink price entry, includes water.
Good place to watch some traditional fighting and they dont charge entry.
Drink prices are a little higher however cannot complain as the fighting is no charge.
They do cram quite a lot of people in so get there early for a seat.
What a great place to watch Thai boxing, you can even participate, and the entrance is very affordable, just an excellent experience!
Definitely of the most unique bars I’ve ever been to. You have to buy atleast one drink to enter, they are a bit overpriced however it’s nothing compared to the experience. There’s a muay thai ring inside where anybody can enter, fight and get a bucket full of alcohol. There were also professional fights which were interesting.
Must see when you're in Phi Phi!
The atmosphere here is always electric even in some of the tropical storms you get. The alcohol and the drinks are great and you can easily stay a whole night without realising.
The fights were fun to watch and when you want to fight they bring you into the ring and offer your hand to the crowd to fight. All amateurs are welcome and fighters get a free drink. Very unique place, will definitely come back!
Always a good time here! Naff music but who doesn't like watching drunk tourists punch each other up over a cocktail bucket. A must do!
Never gave us our change and refused to sort out the issue. All crowded our table shouting at us that they gave us our money however we had taken out a specific amount and knew we hadn’t received our change. Then just all left and ignored us the whole time when we asked what the update was! It’s a shame because the atmosphere and people fighting are great but service is just rude.
The Reggae Bar on Phi Phi Island is an unforgettable gem! With its chilled atmosphere and infectious reggae beats, it’s the ultimate spot to kick back and soak in the island vibes. The staff are incredibly welcoming, and the drinks, while a bit pricey, set the tone for a great time. What truly sets this place apart are the thrilling live Muay Thai boxing matches, adding an electrifying twist to the evening. Whether you're looking to relax with good tunes or meet some fellow travelers, the Reggae Bar is a must-visit.
They force you to pay 80B for a drink as an entrance fee. Why don't they just charge for tickets for the show??? Then I would have bought much more drinks and snacks...
Good place to go for the distraction : reasonable prices for beers. Seeing tourists doing muay thai is fun. I couldn’t find many activities at night at Koh PhiPhi after soending first night at Fireshow. This one is OK.
