Came hwre most days while in thailand good vibes good music and very friendly staff. June was especially very helpful I would definitely recommend this place if your visiting thailand and you like a bit of old school reggae.

Now let mi tell yuh ’bout di mojitos… lawd have mercy. Fresh mint, perfect lime, jus di right balance—cool, crisp, and dangerous in di best way. One sip and yuh already planning di next one. Staff friendly like family, music keep yuh foot tappin’, and di whole place mek yuh waan stay longer than yuh plan. Whether yuh come fi one drink or fi reason di whole night, dis bar deliver di vibes. Big respect. Mi definitely comin’ back.

I’ve visited and loved this bar every year for a long time, and it used to be my go-to place for a real reggae vibe.
What makes it even more disappointing is the slogan in the background saying “the birthplace of Jamaica’s legacy” — yet instead of reggae, most of the music now is mainstream hit music, clearly aimed at attracting a broad audience rather than true reggae fans.
The Trenchtown Rasta Bar has sadly lost its original atmosphere and identity. Very disappointing.
