Rasta Bar has great vibes, good tunes, tasty cocktails, and the friendliest staff (they even offer you cheese sometimes 🤣). Such a cool bunch of guys and a lovely, laid-back spot to chill. Definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Koh Samet! x

This beach bar is an absolute gem — laid-back, colourful, and full of good vibes. The owner is the sweetest person, always smiling and making everyone feel like old friends. The place has real rasta energy — chilled reggae music, hammocks, and sunsets that feel straight out of a dream. Drinks are cold, the atmosphere is warm, and you’ll probably end up staying longer than you planned. Perfect spot to unwind and just be. Highly recommend!

Wir wollten hier eigentlich essen aber der europäisch aussehende Besitzer kam nicht selbst um die Bestellung entgegenzunehmen sondern schickte eine Thai-Jugendliche die kein Wort englisch konnte und auch unser zeigen mit den Fingern auf die Karte nicht checkte.
Somit bestellten wir nur Getränke.
Der Ort ist schön, hat aber kein Rasta-feeling. Es hängen ein paar alte Engländer an der Bar ab, von good-vibes keine Spur.

Great atmosphere and great views staff ok initially on arrival I thought wow the music and everything is great. But after like 30min I realised they are playing the same songs on loop the same 7 songs and that became a bit annoying.

Really nice bar in a quiet part of the island. If your a smoker this is also the best part of the island to be at and they have really delicious drinks
We stopped here multiple times during our stay on Koh Samet. It is a very tranquil place, with excellent service by the staff. Simon and the rest of the crew were very attentive, and always took great care of us. We will no doubt be back on the next trip. Thanks Simon. From, Jimmy and May

Das Team um die Rasta Bar ist mega entspannt, so, wie man sich es vorstellt, wenn man einen ruhigen Tag am Strand auf Koh Samet verbringen möchte. Wir kommen gerne hier her. Der Strand ist sauber die Drinks sehr lecker und die Musik entspannt. Der Eigentümer authentisch 😉

They hosted us for a party we were throwing. I highly recommend this place for gatherings and also just to hang out. Simon, the owner, is fabulous. And the atmosphere on the beach is great - easy to go for a swim and then relax with a coconut smoothie!
Just had amazing few days staying at The Rasta Bar, Simon and his team are absolutely the best! If you want to get away from the world and relax I couldn’t think of anywhere better!
