Rasta Bar Koh Samet

Very chilled place with amazing food! We had a late lunch at about 3pm and some cocktails. All really great! Beautiful view, watched the local dogs play on the beach too. Free WiFi also.<br>March 2025

Amazing place for a fresh coconut!

I wish I could give 10 Stars! This EX corporate suit and tie guy has created his own UTOPIA!!! The COOLEST little Reggae bar, right on the most beautiful beach on Samed! The music and sound system is baddass, and the food and drinks are above and beyond, but the owner Simon, his Thai wife Fong, and their staff are just incredibly awesome souls. Do not miss this place! And don't forget to tell Simon Richard sent you. I PROMISE, you'll get the "best friend" treatment. He also has a few bungalows for rent right there on that little beach too. Soooo cool!!!<br>Guaranteed good times!!!<br><br>Oh, ps. He encourages certain people to join him for Sunrise meditation to ohhhhhmmmmmss on stero... pretty cool

Perfect place to chill and talk a bit

Nice music played in the bar, but the drinks are not good and the owner scammed us when buying the green stuff.. He had us pay 750 baht per g which is 4-5 times the normal price. It was our first days at the Island and the bartender knew we didn’t know the market price.<br><br>I also had my swim-shorts stolen at this place. There’s other places you should rather go than this place! :)

Myself and my son spent Christmas with Simon at the reggae bar, he is an absolute gentleman, one of the most genuine people on this earth. We felt like family on Christmas day and he provided us with an amazing barbequed Christmas dinner put on a fire show at his cost then we all sang the night away. A very special Christmas and I will always thank him for that

Overall, the whole experience was just okay.

British owned bar, nothing to do with Rasta just some angry bloke scamming you. Stay away if you want to have a good time on the island.<br><br>Go to the Italian guy instead right beside such a good guy.

Very welcoming and friendly bar. The owner is very kind and treats his customers like friends. Good prices, very chilled and relaxing. It is a nice place to relax and unwind. Come here if you can if visiting Koh Samed. A big thank you to the owner for the kindness he showed my husband and I on our visit to Koh Samed!

Chill vibes, good music food and cocktails. Beach very pleasant so sunbath and swim. Perfect spot at Koh Samed.
