Happiness Community Hostel & Cannabis Café – Wake & Bake Hostel in Pattaya

I'd like to start by sharing that the staff at this establishment are lovely and very attentive. There was yummy coffee for breakfast and egg and toast too!<br><br>However there were many issues, firstly the dorm looked very different to the advertised rooms and more importantly, did not have privacy curtains on all bunks nor adequate lockers for our bags. This was particularly concerning as the room door did not have a lock nor did we have a key to enter the building.<br><br>A staff member would walk in and out of our room without announcing themselves at many times throughout the day, including 11pm where they turn the lights on and seemed to count us all in our beds. This was really unsettling and confusing, many guests were sleeping at the time and got woke up every night for these unknown checks. Every hostel I've stayed in previously has housekeeping clean late in the morning and no other time to ensure guests have space and privacy.<br><br>Very sad to not have privacy or room security, a male also walked in the room by accident due to the doors not being lockable. I love animals so it wasn't an issue, but there is no heads up that this hostel is pet friendly and has cats and dogs on the premises which could trigger those with allergies, it would be great if they could be transparent with their approach to how the hostel operates to ensure everyone staying is comfortable.<br><br>That being said, many guests loved the vibe and it would be the perfect place for pet lovers and those who enjoy a smoke. It's also in an amazing location if you wish to be near coffee shops and walking st! There was also many areas to enjoy which is a great plus! ☺

Best hostel we've stayed in so far, the staff are so lovely and happy to help, the location is great. The rooms are nice and cool. we got 4 free grams for staying for 2 nights(1 gram per person per night)! It's so cheap and great.

Really cool place to stay.

Had very bad experience, i booked a hostel 1 mouth before but when I arrived, the staff demanded more money. When I refused, they claimed my booking was canceled by Agoda. I was scared and confused since I was traveling alone. I called Agoda customer service, and they confirmed my booking was still active. The hotel staff wouldn’t answer their calls and insisted Agoda had canceled. The Agoda agent asked to give my phone to speak with them since they where avoiding Agoda agent call, but they refused. Thankfully, Agoda coustomer service agent was like a god to me who arranged a free relocation for me and issued a refund, made me feel safe and requested to leave their premises since it's unsafe. Overall in my trip, I had a great time in Thailand and found the people very friendly, but this experience at that hotel was one of the disappointing moment in the country. I wouldn't recommend it to my indian people since they treat us very different and not include us as equal .<br><br>Edit: The owner’s feedback is completely false and liars. The ironic part is that an Agoda agent actually told me this kind establishment is one of the biggest scammers in Thailand. In all my travels, I have never been treated so poorly, especially based on my skin color and ethnicity. The third party you refer to was my savior and God to me —they helped me find a new place when you tried to scam me and told me to leave where I had no where to go. As a solo traveler in a new country, I’m grateful I booked through Agoda, as they were the ones who protected me from this racist scam.And I will never ever in my life go this place again.<br>To my Indian brothers and sisters, please do not go there—they do not welcome our kind they have haters towards us. They seem to only cater to Westerners.

My mother, sister, and I came here and absolutely loved it. We planned to stay only one day to visit Pattaya and staying here was lovely. Coming in hot and sweaty from walking around we were welcomed with glasses of ice water without even asking for their service yet, incredibly nice people and very easy to work with. They spoke little English but were willing to help and were patient with us and helped guide us during our stay with them. We met people during our stay who were also very friendly. Overall 10/10 experience especially everything is close by and food/night markets were so fun.

不推荐中国人过来住！！！人中午来到，到下午都住不了。后面来的两个同胞都一样的情况住不了。。。<br>去哪儿平台和Agoda安可达。没法入住，平台预留电话无法打通，预付款也没法退，后和平台沟通，平台赔偿退款换了一家酒店住。

I stayed at Hostel Happiness Community twice, and while my first experience was great, the second time left me disappointed. Initially, I chose to return because of the positive experience I had during my first stay. However, during my second visit, the behavior of the staff on the last day was unkind and unfair, making me question my decision to stay there again. As someone who values hospitality, I went out of my way to bring sweets from India for the staff and tipped them generously throughout my stay. Despite these gestures, the behavior I encountered on my last day made me feel unwelcome and even gave me the impression of being treated unfairly, possibly due to my background. It was deeply upsetting and made me regret staying there again. Based on my recent experience, I would not recommend this place to other Indian travelers. I hope the management takes feedback seriously and ensures all guests are treated with equal respect and kindness.

Very friendly staffs and owner.<br>well maintained rooms and washroom. We Enjoyed the food and drinks that were made on request.<br>The rooftop setting is nicely done. Walking distances to the beach malls and shop's. Overall its a pleasant experience.

Ko khant and Aunt Kyaw help me out as soon as I git to the building. Actually I didn't even know where the happiness community was until I saw both Ko khant and Aunt Kyaw ask me where I was going. And to find out they are the ones that I was to find haha best place ever!!

Awesome place. Hospitable people, clean and neat rooms, comfy shower.

I like the hostel

What can I say about this place. Wonderful hosts hospitable, humble and accommodating. Location is situated 10 min walk to famous pattaya walking street, the beach and all local amenities. The hostel has well size bunks for the tallest of people. This hostel does accommodate cannabis smokers but these are isolated areas where one can smoke. I am not a smoker and smokers do not impact my day but if you are not cannabis neutral then this may not be the place however you wont find hospitality and such great owners and staff anywhere else. highly recommend hostel just for the wonderful people who work there 6/5 stars and the wonderful people you meet within the community fro all walks of life, :)

パタヤビーチから近くて良かったです。<br>トイレやシャワールームも綺麗でした。

ビーチからも近くてセブンイレブンなども近くにあります。一階はマリファナショップとカフェにもなっていて音楽がガンガンなってます。ドミトリーは比較的清潔でシャワーもお湯が出ます。共有スペースではタバコも吸えます。ルーフトップもいい感じです。

とても快適に過ごすことができました！

We stayed there for a night and the service was superrb!! The vibe, the music, the staffs and everything was much better than what we expected. Oh.. if you’re considering staying there, try to enjoy your night at their rooftop! And the location? It’s the cherry on the cake!
