OH Hostels - Bangkok

I've never in my life been to such a terrible hostel, ever. The service is awful and of very poor quality. The keys never work. There are so many things that are just horribly wrong, but honestly, I don't want to waste any more time on this dump. Do yourself a favor and don't even think about coming to this place

It's a real hostel that makes the reviews unbearable. It's the best location to stay, and it's not too far or too close. The staff is not only friendly, but also differentiated from the atmosphere of a regular hostel, and is formed in an atmosphere where you can socialize with your friends. In addition, there are many events, so I highly recommend them to those who want to get close to other travelers. An attractive hostel for short-term accommodation travelers to extend.

Las habitaciones y los baños estaban bien y limpios. Sacando las sábanas medio viejas y algunas duchas que no tenían agua caliente. El personal fue lo peor. Llegamos y había un hombre, (del cual ya vimos leímos quejas y de hecho con las personas hospedadas ahí hablas sobre él y tenían la misma opinión), nos hablo de una forma bastante irrespetuosa y con mala cara. No sé si es el dueño o que pero no sé cómo puede seguir atendiendo al público una persona la cual no tiene predisposición y ya desde un principio te genera un malestar. Había otra chica después y también, atención pésima. Personalmente de lo que menos me gustó es que haya cámaras de vigilancia en las habitaciones, me parece una falta de privacidad enorme. Nunca lo ví en ningún hostel que pongan cámaras en las habitaciones. Las tarjetas de acceso a la habitación no funcionaban. Cada vez que entrabamos nos tenía que abrir alguna persona que esté adentro porque sino era imposible. Tuvimos que ir a arreglar eso y por suerte lo solucionaron. El ambiente es hostil, incluso las reglas están escritas de una forma pasivo-agresivo y parece que si respiras más de lo debido te cobran. Habíamos alquilado para más días pero decidimos irnos a otro hostel porque no nos sentimos cómodos.

Staying at this hostel was an unsettling experience, and I would not recommend it, especially for solo female travellers. From the moment I checked in, I felt uncomfortable. Eddie, the staff member who checked me in, made a series of inappropriate comments that left me feeling uneasy. His behaviour was creepy, and instead of feeling welcomed, I felt unsafe right from the start. Overall, this was a distressing experience, and I strongly advise others to avoid this hostel, particularly if you are travelling alone. I had initially booked 7 nights at this hostel, hoping that my first impressions might improve. Unfortunately, after a dreadful first night, it only got worse. Eddie’s creepy comments and behaviour during check-in were just the beginning. I tried to give it a chance, but the overall sense of unease made it impossible to stay any longer. I checked out the very next day and can honestly say I wouldn’t wish a night here on my worst enemy. Avoid this place at all costs.

Hätte ich mal vorher die Bewertungen gelesen. Hatte mich von der Lage etwas locken lassen. Leider fühlte ich mich von Minute eins an sehr unwohl. Der chinesische Besitzer (Eddie oder so). Sehr unhöflich und vulgär. Sowas bin ich nicht gewohnt und möchte ich als Gast auch nicht haben. Die Zimmer waren auch nur OK. Die Klima-Anlage war den halben Tag aus und konnte nicht angeschaltet werden, weil das Personal dafür gesorgt hat. Ich kam von einer Nachtfahrt und wollte den halben Tag mit ausruhen, was aufgrund der Hitze nicht ging. Auch schrecklich das man erst ab 15 Uhr einchecken kann, also hatte ich einen langen Aufenthalt ohne Zimmer. Kulanz kennt man dort leider nicht. Selbst als ich dann endlich reindurfte fand ich das Zimmer nicht wirklich sauber. Selbst für asiatische Verhältnisse. Die Dusche war so kalt, dass ich echt gefroren habe. Es war nicht einmal möglich das Wasser auf mittlere Temperatur einzustellen. Das einzige positive was ich von diesen Ort zu berichten habe, ist der Junge Mann (ein Brite) der sehr sympathisch war und guten Kaffee gemacht hat. Dennoch, ich kann dieses Hostel nicht empfehlen.

This was my first time staying in a hostel and it was very comfortable. I used the private room and it had all the basics and the bed the was comfortable. I only stayed for 2 nights but it was a good experience. Also the workers were cool and helped when they could. Oh and if you enjoy marijuana this is the place for you!

They really try to make your stay interesting. The showers and rooms are clean. The staffs are friendly.

It's a weed café fronted hostel, so take that as you will. The toilets were hilariously small and the rooms felt... Wet. But the scene was social and relatively happy. Owner seemed strange but eh, added to the experience.

Lovely stayed here! I will be back, the staffs are so nice, helpful and friendly. Everydays they have activites and I really loved pub crawl , puff and paint, got the travel friends. I will definitely be back!!!!

Nice hostel with vibes and good prices

Love the hostel. First place I ever stayed in BKK 6 months ago.<br><br>However, i came back this week to find an extremely arrogant man in the dispensary. Whoever he is, he's losing you business.<br><br>He didn't know the prices or the deals and lashed out at a female staff member for some reason? The poor girl looked so upset.<br><br>A friend of mine then entered later on the same day and was asked,'Do you like cheap weed, or are you a connoisseur like me?' ( this kid looked about 25 , most of us have been smoking longer than that... )<br><br>Honestly? Behaving like that makes you look and sound like an a$$h0le.<br><br>Horrible experience

I stayed here for over a month , good value , made some really cool friends and memories Dispensary attached which is perfect Great location to access other cool attractions in Bangkok

We booked online without any knowledge that this is a hostel and dispensary. They sell weed and most people that stay there freely do weed in and about the hostel. The main lobby was smoky full of weed. I dont smoke weed but dont mind if other do, so that in itself didnt bother me. We originally purchase dorm beds. The first night i didnt sleep. The air conditioning was set so high that i was stiffling hot and couldnt sleep the whole night. In the morning i upgraded to a double private room for 800baht. The air conditioning was fantastic in the new room but the bed was horribly hard and uncomfortable. My back ached for the entire time. What really irritated me was that in the 5 days we spent there I was charged 800 baht but the room was advertised online for 600 baht. So we checked out and moved hostels to a cheaper private room with a much better bed and bedding. On the positive. Its a chill hostel with chill staff in an absolutely lovely neighborhood filled with lovely coffee shops and small corner restaurants. My son ate at the same one down the road twice a day.

Rudeeee!!!!! I was excited to book here because of the reviews but I will NOT tolerate disrespect and condescending tones! The manager Eddy had an awful attitude I agree with the previous commenter . I will take my money elsewhere!!!! Get another job if you’re that miserable.<br><br>Update! : he gives a free joint for those that leave 5 star ⭐ reviews, he’s A Chinese MAGA supporter too so please look elsewhere don’t trust the positive reviews . These pot heads will do anything for a free joint. I’m so glad I didn’t stay here ! 

Do not stay at this hostel. Especially do not stay at this hostel as a solo female traveller. This hostel will scam you, and the lead front desk staff is creepy around women. I stayed at this hostel in January and Eddie from the front desk offered to buy my friend and I bus tickets, and asked me to transfer him the money. I did so, but unfortunately the money never went through, so I sent him the money again. Once on the bus I noticed the money had been sent and deposited to Eddies account twice, so I reached out to him asking him to send one transfer back as this was a large amount of money, to which he responded "he had no idea what I was talking about". I have emailed multiple times over the past few months with no response. in addition to this, Eddie is is not the type of man a woman wants to be alone with. When I walked into the hostel originally, he was sitting at a table smoking with some guests and was almost too incoherent to check us in. The first sentence Eddie ever said to me was "what kind of underwear are you wearing" as he laughed with the boys at the hostel. Eddie also is known for telling solo female travellers about his "private room" in the back, and I even had a friend tell me she came back to the hostel after a night out alone and he kept offering to take her there. I am not sure of that specific situation although it would not surprise me. I do not recommend this hostel to anyone, I am very upset with this entire situation. I rarely make bad reviews but I had to make an exception for this.
