Honestly, if you’re in Bangkok, this is the spot. Don’t miss it – proper good time guaranteed!

This hostel is fantastic! Right in the middle of Bangkok, so everything is easy to reach. The receptionists are super friendly and very organized. One even makes me a coffee with a heart on top every morning! They also have a lot of activities, like this 'puff and paint' evening, where you can smoke a bit and paint. It’s a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, which makes it easy to meet new people. If you’re in Bangkok, I would highly recommend staying here!

It’s really something about this hostel! At first glance, I was a bit confused about the whole concept. But now 7 days later I’ve feel like I really liked it here, a lot! The people, both the reception-crew and the guest is really a vibe for sure. They host smoke n paint on Wednesdays and pub crawl on Fridays, I recommend it! And if you ever wanna do a tattoo in Bangkok, I recommend to ask Zoey from the OH-crew to tag along. She was the best moral support 😋🤙🤙

I started my far east journey in this hostel and it has truly been life changing. For my second time in Bangkok, this was truly a beautiful experience and has taught me much about the heart of Thailand and the way of the Thai fighting spirit. The complaints that I have are from myself not planning and losing $100 at the airport. I definitely could’ve brushed up on some travel info for a cab app and got an international credit card so I didn’t get charged so many atm fees. PRO TIP; bring money to exchange, not cash app card Be careful with all your belongings because I’m very forgetful but I made friends with some other travelers who helped keep me in check and would look out for me. If you lose your things in Thailand, you might be a shitty person. Despite how amazing and different this place is from anywhere I’ve been, there are still people who are going through some hard times and need some TLC (tender love & care) I myself was depressed when I first got here and could not sleep. Losing a Grandparent back home was not in my itinerary but I don’t think I couldn’t have been in a better place. I normally am antisocial at home but Oh Hostel made me feel welcome to be in mourning. I also was able to see the temple from my room which was definitely a plus. The temple is in a short walking distance which would calm my anxious spirit to understand that heaven is just on the horizon. The staff helped me with everything especially with getting to the flower market which was wonderful! ⛳️⛳️⛳️ One thing that caused some concern to me is all the different WiFi’s. It is very easy to put in the wrong WiFi and be connected to a hacker. Make sure you check with staff for which one specifically you should use to avoid traps 🪤 I saw many WiFi networks that were close to the main network name but different by spelling. Please be careful🔦🔦🔦🔦 Will be back, would recommend, and look forward to the pub crawl!!

Would definitely recommend staying here. Hostel is big so it's easy to meet people, common room is awesome, beds are super nice and room is clean and location is perfect.

Always allow guests to entertain their guests too much. And not respect neighbourhoods. May be good for guests but so poor for me who stay beside this place.

Great place at a great price and location. Very friendly and supportive staff hosting lots of events everyday. The owner is very experienced and it was cool to meet another Canadian on the other side of the planet. I recommend this place very much and thank you for hosting - I'll be back!

The price was very cheap.. I didn't expect so much.. but it was amazing.. I got the private room, you need to be in the room for it to have electricity so you can't come back to a cold room, you enter, then wait for the AC to colden the room which is about 5 minutes... That was the only down side.. It's pretty safe, you need the key to enter the hostel and then you need it again to enter the rooms area. They sell weed, coffee and drinks.. they have WiFi.. they have some games in the lobby witch is pretty cool! I played chess with different people there it was amazing... They have a washing machine for clothes.. The nearest 7-11 is around 5 minute walk but there's a tiny shop owned by an old lady less than a minute away.. food restaurants bars all a walking distance.. even Khao San Road is a walkable distance but you can always use the app Grab to get a biketaxi.. Clean showers clean toilets clean room.. If you don't mind sweating for 5 minutes every time you enter the room this is an amazing hostel and you will love it! Specially if you want a private room but still want a hostel to meet new people and get a really cheap price. Thanks to everyone at OH Hostel for making my stay wonderful 😊

Konum güzel ama hostelin ruhu yok gibi. Bazı yerleri yeniden yapıyorlar muhtemelen bittikten sonra daha güzel olacak. Odalarda kalanların dağılımı bana göre iyi yapılmamış ama güzel arkadaşlıklar edindim.

Been there couple of times... a few blocks far from the main khaosan road which is nice.. Quiet and fantastic place to chill while smoking weed @ there plus fair price accomodation.

This was my first time staying in a hostel, my experiences about the rooms was really uncomfortable to me. I paid for 3 nights from Oct3- Oct 6, 2024 but I only stayed one night. When I check in the hostel at oct 3, the process of check in was really cool. But the rooms I used to stay is really bad like awful smell, tiny dark room with no blankets, unsafe for personal items. The website used to advise they have safe locker to store luggage and personal items but actually they only have small locker without any keys. I visited around Khaosan and the hostel location is pretty great. The decoration also got chilling vibe. When I came back to my bed after visiting Khaosan, there was a woman sitting on my bed and she is speaking and laughing without any reasons by looking at me with the man over my dorm bed. So, I need to add an imformation that they don't have any privacy for travellers who staying in hostel. After that I slept with no blankets and next day i checked out. When I checked out, the receptionist who was Nawri is really nice and friendly. She have a lovely smile and always ready to help. My check out process is pretty smooth. She did her responsibilities really quick and she asked me why I checked out early and what made me uncomfortable. She is really great upon following up for the guests needs. If i could give this place a 0 i would . The place reaks of cigarettes and weed . The bed in the dorms didnt stop moving of the slightest movements. It moved so much i woke up dizzy and sick! You need to ask for a blanket which was not enough to cover my whole body (im 172) and in our room the air conditioning was taped to the celling . You can find so much better value in other places .
