Roots Rock Reggae Chaingmai

Went for a couple drinks and stayed through the live band that came on. Very entertaining for a local reggae group and we had a great time chatting with other tourists!

Ok bar. Had a good live band the night i went. Rest rooms are v basic. Large beer is 110 baht. Plenty of other bars,around to choose from if this one doesn't fliat your boat. Closes at midnight.

Monday night. Take one of many open seats to watch the band. Waiter with long dreads comes to take my order. I say I don't want anything yet. I'd just finished a large beer before arriving and wasn't ready for my next. He said I had to order to support the band. I said I would - later. He kicked me out and charged me 20 baht for using the toilet. I would've bought a couple of beers over the course of the evening but instead all he got was 20 baht and this review.

ライブが楽しめる。土曜は20:30〜と22:30〜で2バンドだった。なぜか1組目はレゲエじゃなかった。0時でピタッとcloseする。

This is a really great bar with great live music most (if not every) night and great prices and drinks.The let down is the pretty gross toilets, which are fine, but at least supply some soap. Reluctant to rate poorly because of this but i reckon it would be a pretty easy fix. I can overcome most toilet situations if i can at least wash my hands properly afterwards.
