Pretty dead when i went

Very nice bar with live music and Rasta owner with a cool vibe, bar stay open late, do not missed this cool spot, toilets was clean, internet very fast, beer very cold, perfect location right next to the river, and the iron bridge. Would definitely go back. Place has a pool table and a stage inside.

Prices are crazy. Wanted double what I paid elsewhere and less quantity. Tourist trap just like the market nearby. Avoid.

Extremely disappointed. I came to check out this spot with my friends and we were very impressed with band. After about 5 minutes of being in the restaurant a man who appeared to be the owner came up to us and very aggressively started asking why we weren't buying drinks (while we were looking at the drink and food menu). We politely asked him for a couple minutes to decide on our drinks but before we could even finish he proceeded to say we need to support him and it costs them money to pay for the band. He then began to yell at us and say we dont have respect and called us Americans. He said if we don't buy now then we can get out.. and with that we had enough. I will not tolerate that type of disrespect from someone who is clearly benefiting from my culture. He assumed we were Americans and must have thought it was ok to speak to us in a very disrespectful way. As the 3 out of 6 people in the bar, he pretty much ruined any chances of getting our business with his lack of class and sheer disrespect. Because of the scene he was making in the bar we decided to leave. First time in Thailand and first time at this bar - this guy single handedly ruined the night with his ignorance, terrible attitude and ego. Really unfortunate because the band was good! If he came to Jamaica he would never been treated this way. Whether he was buying a drink or not. Never judge a book by its cover, treat everyone with respect, your business depends on it.
