The Chopsticks (sukhumvit)

After days of Thai food in our visit, nice to change things up with Cantonese food. The pork is crispy, duck tender, and the soup is delicious. The price of the dinner came out to be about 600 for 2 people. It's on par with major city prices. I recommend this place. It has a unique atmosphere taking you out of Bangkok and to China.

Food was nice,but the staff was bad ! Not entertaining and Ignore customer.

เกินความคาดหมาย มาวันที่ 2 ติดกัน เพื่อหมูแดง แต่หมูกรอบไม่ทัน พรุ่งนี้เจอกัน ชอบมาก ๆ บันทึกไว้ได้เลยเวลาหิวไม่ผิดหวัง

Actually , I don't like to write reviews about any place but I do hope that these places could see this & improve or feel great about their places .<br><br>Went to The Chopstick after watched some good video on instagram & decided to give it a try . The moment I went in the shop , staffs all are so busy with their mobile phone (0100pm ) .<br>I used to work in a restaurant & I suggest restaurant should ban mobile while working .<br>It maybe pass the lunch time period but there are still customer in the restaurant . I was sitted & while looking at my menu . Staffs starts busy with their mobile & no one bothers if I want to order anything . Have to call out few times a bit loud then someone notice & came to take order .<br><br>Ordered shrimp noodles , mix char siu & roast pork & stirfried green beans . I especially like the shrimp wantons but the noodles are so tasteless . Is it suppose to be like this in Thai ??<br>In Malaysia , we mix with some soya sauce & black sauce . Both meats are very tender though but just that roast pork skin is not crispy at all . I took out all the skin & just ate the meats . Meats are flavourful & good .<br><br>Last when i went to the restroom , i find out the hygiene in restaurant is so bad . There is this bowl , i suppose is sauce for marinate charsiu was just next to the toilet & wash hand basin .<br>Am I being too strict after living long in Japan but i think all these are just basics of oral hygiene ?? No ?<br>Even in Japan , you can find many sub standards restaurant especially if you are tourist because many young & old japanese cannot speaks English .

If you fancy for hk style roasted pork noodle, here is the place. Go for fatty one.<br><br>Small place. Expect queue and delay service.
