Alice's Restaurant

Arrived in Thailand/ Chiang Mai for the first time today . This was our very first ‘ Thai ‘ authentic meal and they couldn’t have portrayed their countries cuisine any finer . Excellent service ( an amazing meal is never produced on the spot . Go to Mc D ‘s !! ),lovely atmosphere and staff . Will definitely return. Phil and Kathy.

The food is OK but the service is horrible. I came to the diner quite early around 5ish, having seen reviews online. I chose to sit outside on a slightly big table. I ordered a crab a vegetable and a bottle of beer and started to tackle the plate of crabs after they came. Then people started to stream in and came an old couple ( an Asian lady and a white man) while I was listening to music with earphones on and happily wolfing down the crabs. Then I somehow heard the granny mumbling something to the effect that they chose a small table cuz they didn’t want to take a big one with only two ppl. At that time I didn’t pay much attention cuz I was wearing my earphones. Later the owner(I assume he is) came to me asking whether I wanted to swap my table with the couple. I happily replied yes even though I hadn’t finished my dinner yet with too many plates on the table cuz of the crab shells. But the granny turned the offer down and told the owner they’d like to sit where they were. Somehow the owner started to give me faces. I chose a bigger table to accommodate the need for lots of plates to hold the seafood shells, not because I wanted to occupy a bigger table for myself and I defly don’t deserve the cold faces I got there simply because of the couple sitting on a smaller one on top of their refusing to swap tables. Well, the incident doesn't affect my vacation mood but the service defly doesn’t match the reviews I saw online! Pls give the credits to the crone and curmudgeon you are more than happy to serve :)

La nourriture était très bonne et est arrivée rapidement. Nous avons pris le stir fry au tofu et aux champignons, les spring rolls et la salade de concombre (la vinaigrette était très bonne). Les personnes qui travaillent à ce restaurant étaient très accueillantes. Merci beaucoup!

나이트마켓과 아주 근거리.<br>쇼핑 전or후로 식사하기에 좋은 위치.<br><br>펍레스토랑인데, 기대이상으로 음식이 맛있음.<br>메뉴판만 볼 때는 가격이 비싸다 생각했으나<br>테이블에 음식을 받아보니 비싼게 아님.<br>맛있고 양이 엄청나게 넉넉함.<br><br>음식 하나하나 간이 딱 맞고, 재료의 신선함이 느껴짐.<br>얌운센 맛집임!!<br>카오팟꿍도 고소하고 볶음 스킬이 훌륭함.<br>카오쏘이 풍미 굿, 자꾸 손이 가는 맛.<br><br>스텝들 모두 친절하고 중간중간 테이블 체크도 잘 해 주심.

Un lugar donde puedes disfrutar de una deliciosa comida thai, la atención excelente, altamente recomendable.

We ate at Alice’s Restaurant and the food was delicious, generous portion and price reasonable. It’s so good we went back a second time during our stay at Chiang Mai. Glad we found this restaurant.

A great local eating spot. Very tasty food, beautifully presented and in generous portions. Friendly staff and great blues soundtrack. Excellent value. Deducted one star for atmosphere only because very few customers at the time I was there.

Food was soooo good! Big portion, very tasty, seafood were all fresh Waitress was very sweet, the owner was very nice too, gave us extra Wonderful experience for sure

Had a really nice stir-fry broccoli with Japanese rice. My wife had the poke bowl which was also good and were both vegan. Yummy.
