The rooms are too small, towels and sheets are dirty, the shower drainage is not working properly so expect that you’ll have a mini swimming pool after taking a bath. The plugs are far from the bed and theres no tables or even chairs to put our bags on. The location is only great if you’re more into having a night life. The aisles going to our rooms upstairs smells of a rotten garbage(?). Food served is quite pricey compare to other restaurants nearby. Breakfast was good. The receptionist are not friendly to asian females, unwilling to help us but very much happy to serve europeans and americans as what we have observed. Definitely not coming back.

Great location if you like tourist areas. Right in the middle of everything. If you get there at night, your taxi might not be able to bring you right there since the street is packed with people and vendors everywhere. I was lucky enough my driver took me to the exact location. If not, it's a short walk but can be difficult if you have big luggage.
My bed was clean but my towel had a stain and the floor in my room was nasty. Don't think it's ever been washed. The fan I had helped a bit but I would recommend an air conditioning room. Wifi was very fast (maybe because my room was right on top of the lobby). The shared bathroom was clean.
There was music at the restauant next door and It was very noisy until about 2am. Bring ear plugs!

I can say that this is probably one of the best hostels in Khao San Road, Bangkok. Rooms are not as big as you can imagine but still comfortable to stay in and worth the price. Ac are working well, shared toilets are super clean and staffs are really welcoming.
Wifi connection is not really good when you're inside the room. Connection will only be decent in the reception and restaurant area. Payment must be done upon check - in. If you need to pay using your debit or credit card, they will charge you 3% . There are yons of ATM around the hotel where you can withdraw Thai Baht and USD.

The guy from Philippines and his staff took care of us giving tips about what we should do and what we should avoid. They offer some guided tours around Bangkok for very kind price. They also get you discount if you eat in the restaurant and you can find really good thai, Mediterranean and American food. Perfect for who is just landed and want to have a really nice experience. 10+++

Worse than we expected. The bed is hard and springy the hotel has a smell. The room feels like a jail cell. Loud until 2-3am. Would not return.
The rooms are clean by hostel standards, air conditioned, and the restaurant out front is very nice. The staff have been very friendly.
