Great place to stay for its price and especially location.
The staff is really friendly, competent and mostly able to communicate in English. Our room was clean and felt comfortable, the Wifi was excellent and our air conditioning system worked properly. Additionally the room had its own locker. The only thing you might find a reason to complain about is the doors as you literally hear everything that's happening outside of it.
My 2nd time to stay here.

I was waiting 40 minutes to get simple pancakes for breakfast. And I got them after chasing the waiter a few times. And still one of them was raw. So plan your breakfast well in advance to make sure you get it. I also saw others taking their breakfast away so apparently it was not only me waiting so long.

Not a bad place to stay. My individual room was nice and clean. However, the shared installations could be better and the lack of a lounge area just to seat and meet people is a pitty. Sure, you have a bar downstairs, but sometimes you just want to chill with other people not having a drink.

Rather bad food. At maximum average.
The curry (masaman) had a 0.5 cm thick layer of oil on top. After getting rid of it the taste was okay though. The chicken on the other meal was still raw in the inside and the "cook" can apparently only "fix" this by cutting the whole piece apart and then serving it 20 minutes later as a "massacre".
The waiters there were also not really interested why the dish was left almost untouched on the plate... No wonder its a place the service fee is already included. Probably an okay place to drink something....and if you got enough maybe that's why others write the food was very good...

The perfect place to stay in crazy bangkok
It is a really nice place. Rooms with AC, non luxury but clean , it is enough for a short stay like one or two nights in BKK. Better location than Khaosan Road , more silent. Safe box for free in the rooms, tasty breakfast. Enjoy!
