A very pleasant restaurant with a good range of food, particularly for vegetarians as they will swap out meat and fish for tofu if required. Portions are large so don’t over order! Only downside is it’s very close to a busy main road so traffic noise is constant.

We were staying in a resort just around the corner and discovered this place on Google maps. It is open daily except for once a month. The food can only be described as heavenly and is popular among locals as well. We ate there as often as possible. No matter what we ordered, it was always excellent and the meals were obviously freshly prepared. They also have a good selection of cocktails to start with, while the food is prepared. The owners are very kind and attentive hosts. They do not advertise it, but Ned is fluent in English and German - a big plus for people like us who do not speak Thai at all. They are very friendly and animal loving people. At the time we were visiting, they were raising a baby squirrel that had fallen out of its nest. They named him Jimmy and he was the center of our attention. We will definitely go back to see them again and eat their wonderful food!

Сейчас посетили на ужин Kai Bar, очень все понравилось . Заказали Том Ям , Том Кха и креветки в тамариновом соусе. Все блюда невероятно вкусные , порции огромные . Том Кха за все поездки в Тайланд попробовала первый раз здесь сейчас. Это очень очень вкусно Обязательно прийдем сюда попробовать другие блюда
Sehr leckeres und vorallem authentisches Essen.<br><br>Service ist aufmerksam und sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.<br><br>Werden auf jedenfall nochmal zum essen kommen. Cocktails werden sehr lecker zubereitet 珞珞
Great little spot that was just around the corner from our accommodation. The reality is that there is excellent Thai food everywhere on Koh Samui - but the portions here were a great size, well flavoured and a good range of options. I had the yellow noodles, and Mango Sticky Rice, and would recommend both!

Отличное кафе и хорошие цены! Персонал очень приветливый и внимательный! Еда очень вкусная, особенно понравились Том-Кха и спагетти с морепродуктами, но в спагетти не поняли, что за морепродукт (фото приложил). Постеснялись спросить :)
We spent 2,5 weeks in Lamai and everyday we went to Kais Bar at least once. This is just the best place to eat imaginable. The food tastes absolutely delicious, the prices are really fair since you get huge meals and the owners are such nice persons. The vibe of this place is really chill and you have a nice view over the banana and palm garden and over the sea.<br><br>We tried every thai dish on the menu - all of them are 10/10.<br><br>We really felt like home and enjoyed every stay, every meal and every conversation.<br><br>Thank you so much Nit and Kai you made our vacation so much better than it was anyway. Keep on the great work! We miss you and look forward meeting you again ❤
Very delicious thai food also for vegetarian/vegans can choose tofu for whatever dish wich i loved the pad thai was amazing and also very nice staff i would recommend:)
Kai bar is a great spot for delicious and affordable Thai food. Servings are generous, and the choice of mild or spice is always offered. A nice breeze and an ocean view make the cruisey, comfortable vibe as appealing as the food. Nice work Kai Bar. Highly recommended.
Delicious phat thai with tofu!!
The atmosphere is good .It looks out yo sea and over a lush garden .Food was OK but the fried chicken wings were too salty and looked like they'd been frozen for a while .The Tom Yum Gai was good
