Fat Buds Weed Shop​ ​Sathorn (Cannabis Dispensary)

I began working at Fat Buds today. It was my first day and it was a real pleasure meeting such a relaxed and exciting team. I am very much looking to my future becoming a part of the Fat Buds Team.

One of the best stores in Bangkok! There is always a huge selection of strains, even if you don’t have a lot of money with you. They also have delivery, which is very convenient! I really recommend this shop to everyone

This review is overdue since I've been a loyal customer of fat buds since last time i visited bangkok but things haven't really gotten better since legalization so i wanted to give them the credit they deserve now.<br><br>The current state of legalization in thailand has reduced to 2 different types of dispensaries: overpriced tourist traps in touristy areas looking to sell overpriced mid grades disguised as top shelf to gullible tourists who often never tried and thus don't know what a gram of weed should cost or simply don't know that other options exist, or the often unlicensed shacks by the side of the road selling cheap low quality thai stick (I've seen as low as 50thb for a preroll), always outdoor grow and poorly grown.<br><br>And I'm coming from the perspective of having had my medical card in LA... My favorite experiences from dispensaries in Los Angeles is their exemplary customer service, they deliver faster than a pizza, they know and use their own product intimately and regularly and can make recommendations for different ailments and personalities and they always give out freebies, and there is always a communal aspect with great energy--no dispensary in Bangkok has even come close to that experience EXCEPT for fat buds.<br><br>Everywhere else feels overpriced and extortive, dishonest and scammy. Even if the weed is good, it never feels worth it when you're paying 800 baht a gram and don't know how it was grown. Fat buds is different. They always make it feel like buying from a friend, they're happy to disclose when its outdoor grow, indoor grow, or some high quality hydroponics. They'll always chat with you about what you liked and what you might like to try next. They have a loyalty club for regulars so you can get discounts, and if something IS a cheap weak outdoor grow, they'll straight up tell you and PRICE IT ACCORDINGLY instead of trying to pass it off as something it isn't. Above all i appreciate the transparency, beyond just the customer service, and the fact that if you just want to buy a lot of something that'll just "get you high" versus always the strongest you can buy an ounce of some popcorn nugs here for less than probably anywhere else in bangkok. And if you need some expensive top shelf, they got that too, but i put a lot more faith in their top shelf actually BEING top shelf rather than the same false advertising THC percentage labels you see everywhere else.<br><br>Overall, Fat Buds is something that the ecosystem of Bangkok needs to exist, a dispensary for the common man, who deserves prices not only the rich can afford, and also to know he is getting what he paid for. Because if i, a white man from Los Angeles of all places think that the weed is expensive here, then how does the average thai day laborer stand a chance to smoke something to relax after a hard days work?

I was looking for CBD flowers, and I must have looked at a dozen shop. Found fat budz which is a little bit out of the way, but I'm glad I did. They had plenty of strains to choose from at good prices. I live in Thailand so I can tell. Not only that but the flowers were fresh and sticky and the owners were super chill. Gots lot of goodies thrown on the bag as well. Save yourself the time and energy and visit them once for the duration of your Thai trip.
