Ska Bar & Kata seafood

I like the view and vibe at Ska Bar, but be aware - they charged about 10 baht higher on some drink and food items than advertised on the menu. It wasn’t on every item, but several of them. It was only a few bucks, but this is just shady behavior - be transparent on the price up front. They also tried to charge 5% for using a card - this is high. 3% is typical in Phuket, if there is any charge at all. We did ask the waiter about the price difference and even looked at the menu together. We were just told the “Menu is wrong. More now.” That would have been nice to know when we ordered.

I accidentally gave a $100 aud note yesterday. I’m disappointed that no one picked up on it and didn’t say anything. I would like my $100 aud note back. When I do I will change my 1 star review to a 5 start review.

Great food and drinks at good prices

This restaurant by the beach is a nice spot. The prices are affordable, and the view of the beach is a nice touch. The staff were friendly, and the food was decent. It’s a good place to relax and enjoy the scenery without spending too much.

We are 2 woman traveling from South Africa. This bar/restaurant was an absolute yem! We went back 3 times (1 lunch, 2 dinners). The Garlic Pepper crab was delicious. The drinks well priced. The views and night entertainment - fireshow - amazing. 100% recommend!!

Best bar in the world! This bar has been a highlight of my trip. The staff, music, drinks, view, food everything is amazing and you won't find another bar as great as Ska in Phuket! Definitely visit and you will fall in love just like I did. They also have amazing fireshows which is a must.

Mediocre food. Atmosphere was nice as it’s on the beach. No aircon. Card is 5% which is more than every other place on the island.

The food was amazing (Pad krapao and Pad Thai). Mango sticky rice is out of this world. Views, great prices, amazing food, AND you can smoke on the beach here? What is not to love. This place is a must in Kata.

This was my favorite place to chill out after a long hot day of running around. Smoking is allowed (of whatever you wanna smoke 🤣)

Grilled king prawn und grilled shrimps were really good, but rice and fried shrimp were more or less. Ambient, was nice.

Loveeee the atmosphere here! Their "reggae at the beach" signature vibe didn't disappoint at all. My only complaint would be the closing hour, they closed at 10pm today even though Google said it's until 1am :( Such a shame because I'd love to spend more time here. Anyway, highly recommend for anyone visiting Kata area in Phuket!

Het eten was heerlijk, het uitzicht en de sfeer geweldig. Vriendelijk personeel. De kinderen vonden het geweldig om na het eten op het strand te lopen en krabben te gaan zoeken. Ze aten het liefst elke avond hier! Wij ook.
