Sunset Bar

Truly awful; the event itself was overpriced and fell far from expectation. The venue showed promise, however was let down aggressive staff especially behind the bar that seemed indifferent towards its customers. Waste of money.

400 baht for entry to the “tech house rave”. It was ok at best. The dj mostly played pop and mainstream stuff but it was far from anything tech house. Its a cool enough venue but nothing near 400 bahts for entry and i highly recommend checking out the bars around the walking street if youre in pai for just a few days.

plz don’t spend 400 baht to come here. we were on the fence and decided to send it and really regretted it. it’s not worth the money. the djs sucked it was pop music with terrible transitions between songs. i went to clubs in Bangkok for 250 baht that had WAY better production and music

As a sunset view, it's pretty so-so. But I'm guessing the "sunset" in the name refers to the shenanigans you can get up to here after the sun goes down.

No psilocybin in this shake at all, something else. Perhaps another kind of 'magic mushroom'. For 500 as well. Not sure what this is, mostly harmless but the numb lips make me think large amounts would be bad. Explains why they are allowed to continue, what they're selling isn't illegal just a trap for tourists. Was hoping to do some healing and ended up just uncomfortable. You can tell it isn't by the visuals and half life, most effects gone in 2-3 hours when normal magic mushrooms would be peaking. There is no ego dissolution, very few mental effects. The receptors this acts on must be different. Slight derealization. I can see why people I know panicked on this but I had to see myself. Effects: strobing of vision. Slight time distortion and confusion, numb lips, heavy limbs. Pupils go big. Very boring and uncomfortable. Nothing like what you are after, haven't found anything real in Pai. Interesting experience, but not what is advertised. Would be keen to know the species or compound.

The shake didn't do anything for me. But the barman had a nice voice

Its just sad. the seller said that the shake is made from 20g of fresh. lie. you can hardly taste anything. you can't even talk about a trip. if someone has ever taken magic mushrooms, they will be literally disappointed. it's a shame, because for 500 baht it should be strong and as it is you can talk about tourist trap. I don't understand how you can make such weak shakes for that kind of money. I don't recommend

Many evenings spent in sunset bar while in Pai! Very cool spot with great staff they are very helpful and have all the goods ! Beautiful view of the sunset over the mountains from the top floor of the bar too. Also a sociable and friendly spot to meet people or hang out

I had bought shake 4 times so far. The effects were different in each times. Also, I bought powders 4 times but there were nothing happened so far. Then If you want to try spiritual experience I recommend to get shake.
