Arcadia Barcade @ Bangkok 2049

This bar is such a refreshing change from the more “standard” bars of Bangkok. The owners really went above and beyond creating an atmosphere. The DJ playing was excellent too.

i’ve met at least 3 cool people here, and that’s a lot for my standards.

You could go to another run of the mill "craft beer bar" and overpay for the same brews you can get in a dozen other places within a stone's throw, where you never meet the owners and the staff know nothing about the beer, or you could go to this hip joint full of fun people and good vibes and find unique offerings at friendly prices. Tough choice, eh?

If Blade Runner had a bar with arcade machines, it would look like this. There’s a bunch of classic American and Japanese games from the 80’s and 90’s. As someone who grew up in the States and Japan, Arcadia feels like home.

Excellent service, friendly staff(owner) the food is ordered from the nearby restaurant which are quite good. I had a really good time with the retro arcade games<br>It's getting quite competitive though lol.<br>Overall I strongly recommend this place.

The owners of the bar are very welcoming and are happy to talk about the drinking and gaming options available. There is something for everybody here whether you want to drink some cocktails, craft and local beer along with kratom sodas which seem to be a real hit. I found the music and old games really nostalgic and felt really relaxed with it all taking me back to times when things were much simpler.

Awesome spot! Nice range of beers, excellent vibe, and some really fun arcade games and emulators. Definitely worth a visit.
